Amazon Future Engineer is a comprehensive childhood-to-career program that increases access to computer science education for children and young adults from underserved and underrepresented communities.
When I found out I would be teaching coding to my students, I was intimidated. Now that I have had a chance to play around with coding and see various programs and resources available to teachers, I feel more comfortable. Amazon Cyber Robotics Challenge made me realize I don’t have to know all the in’s and out’s of programming to have my students working on coding. This program will allow me to learn and develop my own coding skills which in turn will assist my students and my ability to deliver effective coding lessons and challenges.
