Connected North

Connected North fosters student engagement and enhanced education outcomes in remote Indigenous communities, using the latest virtual tools. The program is made possible through a strong network of supporters, with program delivery managed by TakingITGlobal.

Connected North’s approach is based on values of reconciliation, respect and empowerment, inspiring meaningful and sustainable change.

Amazon is Connected North’s primary coding partner. In 2021, educators across the Connected North network will have the opportunity to be trained on the AP Computer Science Principles curriculum and provided with resources to bring computer science education into their classrooms.
